Based on the First Medical Union of Lviv, the UNBROKEN Beauty project is being implemented at the National Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN.

The project will reconstruct the maxillofacial surgery department and purchase special equipment to restore the faces of people injured in the war. The reconstruction of the department will help restore beauty to about 410 patients a year, and the purchase of new equipment will help operate on extremely complex cases.

“With this project, we will be able to provide doctors who operate on severe facial injuries with the best equipment and patients with comfortable conditions. We are very grateful to Unilever for supporting resilient Ukrainians,” says Oleh Samchuk, CEO of the First Medical Union of Lviv.

Unilever has also donated more than €15 million to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians, working closely with UN agencies and local NGOs to deliver aid where it is needed most.
