“UNBROKEN MOTHERS” CENTER FOR MOTHERS AND CHILDREN WAS PRESENTED IN LVIV FOR PREGNANT AND MOTHERS IN LABOR, WHO FLED THE WAR
In Lviv, “UNBROKEN Mothers” Center for Mothers and Children opened its doors. Future mothers had an opportunity to attend thematic training with specialists and the opening of the center. Currently, these are two houses in which more than 100 people can live. The houses are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable living of babies and their mothers.
On the territory of the center there are playgrounds for children, sports grounds and walking paths over the pond. Medical personnel will be on duty at the center and will be able to provide advice and help if needed. The center was created for women with hope and childbirth, who were forced to leave their homes due to the war, could find shelter, enjoy motherhood and rehabilitate after childbirth in proper conditions.
The event was attended by the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi, as well as the general director of the Red Cross of Ukraine Maksym Dotsenko and his deputy Illia Kletskovskyi. The project was implemented with the support of the Red Cross of Ukraine, which allocated 710,000 euros for the construction of houses.
“UNBROKEN Mothers” is part of the ecosystem of care and support for people affected by war. It is our duty to take care of the well-being of small Ukrainians, for whom the future of Ukraine is.
