Lviv became the rear for Ukrainians fleeing the war. The city hosted over 5 million people, including more than 11,000 wounded. The UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center, based on the Lviv First Medical Union, took over their treatment and recovery.

The old polyclinic block has been converted into a modern rehabilitation building, the first section of which will open on Tuesday, April 11.

Hundreds of specialists will fight for every new movement of those injured by the war. There are seven floors for rehabilitation with models of an apartment and even a store so that the patient can prepare for new living conditions as much as possible. Every year, 10 thousand of Ukrainians will be able to receive aid here.

Specialists use modern equipment and the latest techniques to restore the military’s normal life. Also, the treatment of civilians injured by the enemy’s armed aggression. Also, on this day, an “Unbroken People” exhibition created by Dmytro Kozatskiy, Azovstal photographer and Mariupol defender, will be opened in the building. Journalists will also have the opportunity to talk to patients at the rehabilitation center.
