An interactive charity project of the Fishka loyalty program together with Mastercard and the National Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN was launched last October. The goal of the FISHKOGRAI project was to raise 30 million hryvnias for prosthetics for military and civilians who lost their limbs as a result of the war. And three months after the project’s launch, the goal has been reached!

All users of the Fishka app could support this charitable initiative. They simply made purchases, enjoyed the sound of Volodymyr Ivasyuk’s music, guessed the melody, and Fishka, together with Mastercard, rewarded these attempts with a donation for prostheses for the UNBROKEN. Those who cared also transferred their points to support the project and donated directly to the bank. Doctors, physical therapists and ambassadors of the UNBROKEN Center also joined the “FISHGAME”. So together we managed to raise UAH 30 million.

“Together with our partners, we have created the FISHKOGRAI project, whose main goal is to contribute to prosthetics for unbreakable Ukrainians and draw public attention to the scale of this need. We are grateful to everyone who joined our charity project: guessing melodies and generating donations, transferring Fishka points, making contributions to the center’s accounts,” says Olga Semchuk, Head of the Fishka Loyalty Program. ”We see that FISHKOGRAI has touched the heartstrings of millions of Ukrainians, because it has created a beautiful symbiosis of charity, gamification, and popularization of Ukrainian music, which is extremely important for us today. And this means that we have not only fulfilled the charitable goal of the project, but also introduced a huge number of Ukrainians to the work of Volodymyr Ivasyuk.”

The funds will be used to purchase high-tech and functional artificial limbs for the UNBROKEN: bionic hand prostheses and components for osteointegration prosthetics of the legs.“We are grateful to Fishka and Mastercard for helping us to provide some of our patients with expensive prostheses, and thus give them the opportunity to return to the fullest possible life in new conditions. After all, UNBROKEN’s mission is to treat, prosthetics and rehabilitate Ukrainians in Ukraine. And our team is working every day to create the right conditions and find opportunities for the best possible recovery of our defenders,” says Oleh Samchuk, CEO of the First Medical Association of Lviv.
