UNBROKEN Games

UNBROKEN Games is more than just athletic events and the involvement of the UNBROKEN community in adaptive disciplines. It is a form of activity that supports both physical and psychological recovery for those who have experienced trauma — injury and loss.

Through sports, our patients overcome their injuries and continuously show the world their resilience. They participate in marathons and half-marathons in Boston, Tokyo, and Lithuania; in inclusive races organized by Nova Poshta in Lviv and Kyiv. They compete and win medals at the Invictus Games. They test their strength in a wide variety of sports: swimming, amputee football, archery, para ice hockey, volleyball, karate, wrestling, and many others. They take part in national and international competitions and dream of the Paralympic Games.

All of this forms the unique UNBROKEN sports community. Sport has become a symbol of resilience not only for the patients of the National Rehabilitation Center, but also for their doctors, families, friends, and everyone who supports seriously wounded defenders.
