On November 3, Olya Polyakova held a charity online marathon “Together We Are Millions” on her Instagram page. For three hours on live air, the singer together with her star colleagues, military personnel, athletes and journalists communicated live to collect the necessary amount for the purchase of bionic prostheses for Ukrainians affected by the war.

“I am very proud of everyone who joined the charitable initiative “Together We Are Millions. Prosthetics for Unbroken” and contributed to the treatment of our military. In three weeks, together with the benefactors of the dobro.ua platform, we collected more than 2 million hryvnias – a significant amount that will speed up the prosthetics of Ukrainian defenders, who lost their limbs in the course of duty. I am incredibly grateful to Mykhailo Dianov, the legendary defender of Mariupol, for what he did and continues to do for Ukraine. His donation amounted to a record 1 million 700 thousand hryvnias. It’s just fantastic!” – commented Olya Polyakova.

Thanks to the donation of the defender Mykhailo Dionov, the singer managed to double the amount of the planned collection: “For more than 8 months I have been living using one hand. I am used to many restrictions. For a while, I thought that it would always be like this, and this thought is very difficult. Because it should not always be like that. Not for me, not for other boys, whose situation is even more difficult.

I’ve been looking for ways to redirect some of your help to those who, like me, need the ability to hug their loved ones with both arms, walk, and possibly hold a gun. This is a very important direction for me, and I have found those who have already helped many veterans. Thanks to Olya Polyakova for the very timely initiative and the fact that it was thanks to her that I find out about the project.

I will donate 1,700,000 hryvnias from your donations to “Prostheses for Unbroken” of the National Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN. The money will go towards the purchase of high-quality bionic prostheses. This is all your help, for which I once again say thank you,” – Mykhailo Dionov said.
