The multidisciplinary approach, in particular, has proven itself very well in the management of patients who need prosthetics. The first contact in our medical institution is an examination of a person by a team consisting of a surgeon, a traumatologist, a prosthetist, a rehabilitation specialist and a mental health specialist. This team is headed by a doctor of physical rehabilitation medicine. All its members work together to achieve the patient's goals. A person receives not only professional comprehensive help but also the understanding that they really care about him.
